The project was implemented by the consortium of three motivated partners from Poland (Association of Municipalities Polish Network “Energie Cités”, Germany (Deutsche Umwelthilfe) and Hungary (Energiaklub). Their work focused on supporting sustainable energy development of their regions and promoting solutions to many energy related problems faced by the EU community.

The EnPover project focused on tackling energy poverty and directly addressed municipalities, which can play a crucial role in improving the situation of vulnerable private households and boosting implementation of low-cost EE measures in the sector. They can foster a good, enabling environment, be role models and change agents and initiate local support schemes. Several pilot municipalities from Germany, Hungary and Poland were directly involved in the project, participating in networking, dedicated trainings and study visits and working on pilot awareness raising campaigns. But we would like to invite all the other to get familiar with and make use of our products, including training material and the toolkit of customized and ready-to-replicate measures alleviating energy poverty.
